“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew 22:37-40

Dear CLC Family,

I hope you take time to skim the following Annual Spiritual Check-Up.   Which area of your spiritual life needs work?  Actually no one has a spiritual life.   Each of us has only a life.  We are spiritual beings which means that every aspect of our lives is lived before God.   Are you ignoring prayer, struggling with fear or complacency, stuck in overwhelming time pressure and fatigue, consumed by worry, imprisoned by anger, doubt or unforgiveness, living in ingratitude?   As you read over the list below, chose one area that you need to focus on in 2018 and then watch the video or read the teaching that addresses that area.   Make 2018 a year in which you take a major step forward as a follower of Jesus.

In Christ, Jeff

Jesus says that if we love Him, we will obey Him (Jn. 14.15), and He calls us to grow in grace and love. Do you have a plan for growing in your love for God and love for your neighbor for this next year?  Will you prayerfully prepare one before the end of the year?
